JOB SUMMARY: We are currently seeking a Janitor/Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a caring attitude towards our residents. While prior experience in janitorial or maintenance roles is preferred, we are willing to train the right individual. JOB DUTIES:
*Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
*Maintain cleanliness in common areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms
*Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and repairing minor fixtures
*Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
*Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times
*Provide assistance and support to residents as needed, demonstrating compassion and empathy in all interactions
*Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents and visitors
*Assist with painting projects, including preparing surfaces, applying primer and paint, and ensuring a neat and professional finish
*Perform drywall repairs as needed, including patching holes and applying joint compound

HOURS:
Part time, 26 hours per week, day shift

PAY:
$16.00 per hour
